Tierney’s Senior Session | Leavenworth, KS

You guys…this is Tierney and she is striking! I’m so grateful that I got to photograph this stunning beauty! T and I had such a good time together as we walked around and found the best spots during her session. The evening was perfect and the lighting was impeccable!

Photographing seniors is so much fun! They’re older, so they follow directions and then they hold a pose for as long as you ask while you adjust angles…which is amazing, especially when most of my little clients are under 6. It makes a huge difference whenever I can tell a client…close your eyes, take a deep breath, and open them when you’re ready knowing they won’t move a muscle.

The senior season is such a special time, it’s chaotic, exciting, and gut wrenching all at the same time. For Tierney, she’s stoked to be finishing up high school and moving on to bigger and better things. But then there’s Mom and Dad…dealing with the reality that their baby girl is growing up. I’m not sure I’ll be ready when my little girl is a senior. Thankfully, everyone will have these images to look back on and smile knowing that we captured T just as she is during such a monumental time.

I had so much fun with Tierney and her Mom during her session! She is such a cool girl who clearly loves being in front of the camera. I really love when seniors come to me ecstatic to pose for me and kill it! Our families have a ton in common as we’re both military families and have traveled all over the world together.

Just look at that expression…something I cherish! Capturing moments of personality can be difficult as kids turn into teens…thankfully I found a topic that made her give the cutest faces! (hint: it was a certain boy…wink wink)

Tierney I hope and pray that your senior year is all you dreamed it would be and more! There’s a big world waiting on you to help change it! It was a honor and privilege to photograph you!
